One dumb question... according to the update firmware guide (http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware), you have to have the battery fully loaded before flushing..

I have like around 80% of battery and misread that step before i flush to PR1.1, is the battery life gonna suck from now on??

no.
it's only preventing the phone to turn off because of a low battery while updating the firmware.
if there is any distortion in the update-process the phone most likely won't be able to boot anymore and you'll have to reflash it.

lol mine was on low ... i have it plugged in and it updated fine

strange.
normally the update complains about low batteries. ^^
