I do personally think the delay feature is a tad redundant since the camera body itself will have that feature already on it, but having more options is usually a good thing. Especially if it can be scripted to take a shot every X seconds/minutes until the device is told to stop. This way you can use it as one of those time laps devices by splicing all your images together in a video.

Does `shutter` have the ability to be conf driven? e.g. is there a way to specify a non nikon config from:
http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/
in ~/.shutter/ or something?
(yeah, canon)
