Hello,

I am pretty much a noob on this and have yet to really relve too much into the phone and change anything.

I am getting the message that memory is full and to remove data to free memory. However, in XTerminal, rootfs is showing 70%.

The only things currently installed are:
Angry Birds, gPodder, SuperTux and Xournal.

I have added 4 bookmarks in my browser, have no messages in my inbox, and have only 2 very small emails, both under 5kb.

On my desktops, I currently have AP News and Facebook feed wigits running which were already on the device and Forcea Weather which again has been running since new.

I have never used the extras or devel repos, and updated my firmware UTA within the last week to the latest 2.2009.51-1.

I have tried turning the phone off for a while and turning back on again, but still am unable to send messages and keep getting the error pop up every 30 seconds or so.

Anyone else had this issue or got any suggestions to clear?

You help is much needed and appreciated guys!

output of df could be useful

e: open terminal, and write:
df [enter]

and copypaste the output to here.

or write:
df > /home/user/MyDocs/df.txt [enter]
to get a text - file containing same things to file managers N900 root directory.

There's no problem there with storage space. If the error you're getting is about memory being full, then that's probably the system memory (256M + 256M swap) that's full, not the flash. You can run "free" from X Terminal to check the memory usage. Closing open applications should help, or rebooting (if you're not running a lot of applications then it looks like something you're running has a memory leak).

256 + 768, actually, the device has a gig of RAM.

Also, there are several ways to spy on RAM usage, including desktop widgets, maybe one could be installed? (I am aware of your issue, just putting it out there).
