I have dosbox running, my C: mounted.
I can't use the ":" key because I can't change the layout.
Where do I have to copy rover.sys?
How can I make it appear in Z: drive?
Dosbox always starts with Z:, and I can't change that, even if i change the config file.

@agogo - you can add the "c:" in the config file to automatically switch to the c drive. The config file should have something like:
mount c /home/user/dos
c:

in it.

I just wanted to say thanks for this - it's working very well for me so far - I dug out my old cd of Master of Orion, copied it over, and it is running fine. The sound was a little chunky, but I think I can forgive you that.

The only issue I'm having is that the mouse / touchpad sync isn't great...

Hello,

First post here and I want to start it by thanking Javis for his work on DosBox.

But of course, I also post here to ask for something about this program :
Considering the resolution of the n900 screen, there's a part that is not used by the Dos screen, so I wonder, why not using it to include buttons (numbers, functions keys, Esc or a lock for activating right click for example) ?

It could look like this (very schematic, but you got the idea) :

Or if this not doable, could it be possible to add a bind key in Startmapper in order that we could use right click in games (by holding Fn key while clicking for exemple) ??

you can download it by enabling extras testing through your application manager

(warning, downloading apps from extras testing or even more so extras-devel may cause problems to the device)

here are instructions about enabling extras-testing

having said that, it may be tricky making dosbox work if you don't know how to edit a text file under linux. it is a good excuse to learn so though!

any idea on how I get rover.sys into the default z drive? could this not be added to the installer?

Do I download and then have to transfer via usb to the install folder mentioned in a previous post?
