Hey guys, I've been looking for a desktop icon for when I connect my n900 under Gnome but I couldn't find any. So...I decided to make one myself and share it with you. It looks pretty decent on the desktop screen. (PNG file with with transparent background)

Not sure who took the initial pic, so I can't give them the credit they deserve.

Anyway, here it goes.

Clicking invisible thanks.

Can you describe how to set it, though? I get the generic icons when I connect via USB and never knew I could change them in the first place.

Sure!

Right-click -> Properties -> In the first tab (Basic), click the small icon just under the tab name and then select the location of the image you want to use as icon.

Hav to try... thx. By "right click" you probably mean "right click on the desktop icon" - I know there should be one, but my desktop is so crowded with useless stuff that I never see them appearing.

Looks very nice, though, so I'll start cleaning my desktop when I come home. It seems to be worth it.

Yeah, you neet to modify the icon on your desktop, since it defaults to a standard one, I think. I personally love how the new icon looks (especially on my 1900x1200 screen).
