OMG, this is the coolest thing ever, I can't believe how Bright this light is...simply unbelievable....WOW what phone/tablet...ok whatever it is...HAHA, thanks guy...Umm another dumb question? Mplayer? you need the movie in your phone? you can't stream stuff from the web right?

(p.s. - each thread has a thank you button next to it
- if you want to pay thanks to people you can use that!)movies etc, yup thats right there are lots and lots of threads on here about getting videos to your phone.
If you are in the UK, you can also download from the BBC iplayer, i have it working fine
got 3 dvd's on it too, great for train rides.
Mplayer with kmplayer works fine, but for me, the standard player is good enough.

technically you can watch youtube etc, the main issue with web videos is what software they use, lots of sites use flash, and the version 9.4 on the N900 just can't handle it. Maybe soon we could get the newer version 10, but for now downloading or youtube are doable.

I guess the best would be to use something for Ninja Video, that would be cool as well...are you saying that you can try and surf the web using Mplayer???

Just download them directly to N900 and use default media player. They should work.

You can activate mplayer either with a GUI (Graphical interface) like kmplayer, or via terminal, but not via MicroB
