Hi!

Is there any maps & navigation application for N900 that has a feature of being able to input latitude and longitude coordinates manually and then that place spotted in the map? Now for example in Ovi Maps you can only input postal addresses and not coordinates (at least I have not found out such a feature). GPXView application has a feature of feeding a GPX-file containing coordinates, but not manually feeding coordinates by writing them in UI.

Yes, this feature is fundamental.
Is there another GPS program other than Ovi Maps that supports it?

Sygic Maps 9 for Maemo supports coordinates input.
