how do I delete a GPRS access point? MY N900 keeps choosing the wrong one but deleting is not possible (only WIFI acess poins can be deleted).

Did you try going to
settings>internet connections>connections?

I had the same issue. My quick and dirty fix was just to edit the settings and mangle everything up so it wouldn't be able to connect.

I'm sure someone has a more elegant solution...

Did you use fAPN to create the access point? If yes, there is a button in there to delete it as well.

Otherwise, gconf instructions are mentioned in this bug, at the bottom.

But regarding your problem with the wrong access point, see this thread and this bug. Maybe it helps.
