imo that is much deeper in the system. so you wont find the picture because it is somewhere in bootloader or nearby, all the files are found much later after partitions are mounted.

hi

Actually I hesitate to create a small shellscript for moving the pictures in right place and backing-up before... but I forgot :/

Will probably do it some time later... (as soon as I've free time )

edit: btw thanks for the screenshot/vids for my pacman unlock screen

WoW!!

My eye's have just stopped bleeding reading this EPIC thread.

Theres a lot of cool and interesting mods available, but utilising a thread to share idea's and file's is a nightmare to read, plus every other response is a question on how to use xterminal to install and make changes to the N900 filesystem.

Wouldn't as application (soft of like Winterboard for jailbroken iPhones) be better for managing and sharing these mods, I would love to try some of the stuff in this thread, but am very rarely in the mood to venture into xterminal territory.

Like most of the n00b's who joined the Maemo5 revolution I have little programming experience and much prefer an all-in-one solution, but I think on this occasion an application for the N900 that would manage and install these mods would benefit everybody..

For the script automating the setup of lockscreen, check here : http://pastebin.org/83193
BUT, you're using this script at YOUR OWN RISKS!!!
I checked with dummy-dirs for testing purposes, but as I haven't my phone with me atm (shame on me), I couldn't test on my phone.
As I haven't a lot of time I won't be able to provide any support, or read whining post about "you broke my phone"/whatever

If you want to improve/modify/re-use this script, feel free to
enjoy.

mhm... i did following:

sudo gainroot
mkdir MyDocs/dump
cp /etc/share/themes/$theme_name/images/* MyDocs/dump/

there you have access to these copies in mass storage mode.
you can look at the names and which icons/images are behind.
of course you can look at the dimensions and edit/change the picture too

it's quite cool to see that you can change nearly every single icon/image on the n900. ^^

Anyone know where this animation/file is:

When you close a window there's a some starts/puff of smoke.

I thought a little mushroom cloud would be cool.
