yeah, it could be different for you ... but somehow it kept happening on mine. Because i was on a call for few times and after the call I check my new msg and It locked me in portrait mode.

Edit: i just tried it again ... and it's not working for me either. So i guess it must be something else. But for the few times that it happened , it was exactly how i posted. Unless there's something I must have done that I don't remember.

I was bored once and made a little python script that can be used to switch between both of the modes, it's not very usable, but for a slight testing can be useful: http://codingdocuments.blogspot.com/...rait-mode.html

No userguides or anything, sorry about that.

Edit: Okay got a bit bored again, now it contains a daemon script that rotates screen automatically according to the devices rotation. It also reboots the device from time to time :

Edit2: code is in the public domain, so feel free to do whatever with it.

it's very interesting, but the apps don't fit to the screen; only few apps work not bad

in case any of you were still wondering, i got the sequence

install braek
turn "launch by turning" in the phone app on.
activate braek
turn the phone
go to dashboard

done.

(if you can manage to get to x terminal, you can execute "killall braek" as root to get rid of the sim-break.)

This can only be fixed by resetting the UI or rebooting
