I tried a file manager and MC but I cannot delete files in both app?
isn't there a way to do it via winxp (using usb)

help?

Have you tried deleting/editing the file with mc while logged in as root? (usual precautions apply regarding deleting/editing while root)

Try it directly on the terminal using the command: rm (be very careful!!! You can damage your device.)

For Windows, search here at the Forum for "WinSCP".
With this you can access the whole N900 file system over WLAN (it's great)

But, be also here careful. You know. Make Backups and don't delete the wrong files.

Yeah happens to me fairly randomly, but always when interacting with something on screen.

Otherwise it works great.

Edit:- I just tried Sam & Max and it froze during the introduction :-/

Just finished playing Full Throttle on my N900 and the experience was awesome. Worked flawlessly.

Any suggestion? (Except Monkey Island or DotT because I'm playing those already)

Mohawk engine is not in stable version and does not look ready yet (both games are not completable). Stable releases have only stable/supported engines enabled. Solution it to have another unstable scummvm build made from svn trunk (i.e. latest code).

Had no time to try those games with N900 yet.

I am suspecting compiler bug. I've seen scummvm crashes when trying ARM specific compiler options with newer gcc used in Fremantle SDK. I've removed those options and hoped it will be OK. If it is due to compiler, you may try to install a bit older build done with Diablo SDK http://fanoush.wz.cz/maemo/scummvm_1.0.0-3_armel.deb

If there is no crash with this version I can build newest scummvm with Diablo SDK as a temporary solution. Sadly this needs to be downloaded by hand and installed via command line. Uploading binary build to Maemo Extras is not possible.
