- Bloated with features for my using purposes (Mp3-playing)
- Slow to load up (could be due bloat issues? I have auto-index off so it ain't that)
Choose what MediaBox shall do for you: [X] Play music [ ] Play video [ ] Show images [X] Manage playlists [ ] Browse filesystem [ ] Browse UPnP/DLNA devices
- Cryptic GUI (for real, accessing basic stuff is behind oh so many levels of choices, I want to open the player and hit play to continue precisely from where I left off instead of going home, selecting folder/playlist , browsing for a song from the list and then finally hitting play, then going top menu to enable FM transmitter (when I'm in my car) and clicking broadcast on)
I could photoshop a few suggestions of the creator of MediaBox is interested in this type of spinoff and/or GUI revamp?

Signals about Stop/Pause/Play, track info and track changed, seeking signals and methods to play, pause, stop, switch to next and switch to previous. That's all at the moment. Maybe volume control...

It's actually quite modular, and could be stripped down to the point of only playing music. I'm thinking of some configurator for slimming down based on what the user wants. Something like this.
When not loading the unwanted components, startup time will get a bit faster, too.Code:Choose what MediaBox shall do for you: [X] Play music [ ] Play video [ ] Show images [X] Manage playlists [ ] Browse filesystem [ ] Browse UPnP/DLNA devices
Yes, please.
