The accelerometer in my N900 is somewhat broken. Whenever the phone has been on for a while it starts to freeze some or all the axis, until it freezes in the same position. However, if I shutdown the N900, remove the battery, wait for a while, put the battery back and turn the N900 on again, the accelerometer starts to work again.
This is very annoying. If I could I would send the phone for maintenance (but I can't, Nokia doesn't sell or care about N900 in Brazil).
The question, then, is this: What is the command, DBUS message, script or whatever that can be used to reset the accelerometer without having to remove the battery?
