hey guys..
just a simple question...
why is there a red exclamation mark next to some of my messages in conversations, while some of them dont have that mark??

what is tht mark trying to tell me..!

That is normally to indicate a message with High Priority.

Oh, i though it meant Message Delivery Failed.

they have a high priority because delivery has failed. ;D

bt the delivery report appears with a yellow notification.....its not for delivery failed..!

wait, so it means sms failed?

Yes, it means that a delivery of at least one message to that contact failed. This does not have to be the last message. I assume that deleting this message from the conversation view should fix it, if not I'd consider it a bug.

what if a report failed like a month back and then evry msg reachd perfectly...will it continue to show the red exclamation mark all my life..!!??

It does, yes. This does actually look a bit odd after extended use. (My preferred option would be to only show a mark if the last message failed.)

Deleting the message doesn't make the red exclamation mark disappear as far as I can tell (at least, it hasn't on the one I've just deleted.) I'll wait a while and see if it goes away after a while.
