Hi,
This may strictly be a hardware issue, however, can existing HSPA frequencies on N900 (900/1700/2100) be changed? If so how? Also, can HSPA frequencies be added? If so, what is maximum number of frequencies allowed? Note: I would like to add HSPA 850 & 1900 as I reside in Canada. Thanks in advance for answers.

No, they are part of the chips internal to the device and cannot be altered in software.
