Greetings:

I use NetStumbler on my LapTop, which runs Windows XP.

Is there a similar program that would run on the Nokia N800?

Regards Robert

try lower case k on kismet... you may also need to add a repository (not sure which, can't check the Maemo.org download page as the Search feature is broken). Although kismet does work on the N800, it has problems which may cause it to lock up.

You need the correct repository set up. Add this one,

Kismet has significant issues on the third release firmware for the N800 due to issues with the closed source driver. The developer has complained in depth on the Maemo Developer mailing list. I sincerely hope that Nokia fixes this issue in the next firmware release. This is a prime example of how the "half open" nature of the N800 is causing problems and stifling the efforts and enthusiasm of many developers and small businesses who would like to use the N800 for "serious stuff"
