hey i have tried the instructions here http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware but when i run the command line with the image name all it does is say

"flasher v2.5.2 (September 24 2009)
RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1.002_PR_COMBINED_002_ARM: %m"

and then goes back to asking me for a command and nothing happens to the phone. any thoughts? I already have maemo 5 installed but I need to re-install it

When I flashed mine (US version), I did the following:
1. downloaded the vanilla EMMC 4.1 version to erase all the data and all partitions (not required but I chose to do a clean install)
2. flash the most recent OS version. In windows the command line has to be something like: flasher-3.5.exe -F Imagename.bin -f -R

That usually indicates that the bin file you specified is not in the current directory.
