The killer app for me that is not on the N800 yet would be a very basic calendar and contact app that would sync with Google's services. Does this exist and I am missing it or does anyone know if there is an active app being worked on to do this? Thanks!

dunno.

It syncs calendars fully back and forth.

the thread I linked doesn't say anything about contacts, does it?
mine are on (fully functional) N800 gmail/gtalk anyways.

No it didn't say anything about contacts which is why I ask. This is a significant step for me. Thank you for sharing! Has anyone heard anything for contacts?

Greetings:

I don't know for the rest of you but in today's standards and business being able to make your network contacts grow is very important.

This is why with the features of Wifi and Bluetooth that are present on the Nokia N800, a WiFi/Bluetooth enabled Social Network Software would my Killer Application for the N800.

The best software that I know that works on Windows XP, BuzzeeBee,
when someone else has the same software on their laptop, mobile phone, etc,
the two software exchange information.

Ok, how many times did I go to a conference and I wanted to meet a specfic person there to increase my business market, but after walking the floor for hours, I go home with a million business cards, a have to do another 3 hours of work at home to followup on leads.

With a Social Network Software on the N800 all I have to do is insert percise information of what type of business I'm looking for, add tags, include a businesscard or a picture of myself, include an invitation to meet at the bar, cafe, restaurant in a time frame, and that's it.
When I walk the floor my N800 will scan all potential people that match my terms.
In the end I may have 10 +/- persons who I know I can surely do business with me.

As for Social or meeting that perfect girl, think of the potential when you walk in to a 5-7 Happy hour bar, and your N800 within minutes lists and shows pictures of women who meet you interests.
Now you can buy them a drink, knowing that you already have many things in common.

So, please anyone with Linux programing abilities develop a very good WiFi/Bluetooth Social Network Software for the N800.

This would be the best Killer Apps in my Book.

Regards Robert

That would be pretty cool. I have heard of some conferences using RFID for business card exchanges.
