364 K /bin
71.4M /etc

now i cant install anymore apps and even no images are showing up on Image gallery.

anyhelp will be much appreciated! thanks
The odd one there is definitely the size of /etc. This should point out any files over 2KB in there (there's none on mine):
Code:
find /etc -type f -size +400

Hang on a minute - your screenshot shows the contents of /home/user/apt - where did this come from? Your other question indicated that you'd moved the apt data to /home/user/MyDocs/.apt-archive-cache.

That depends on what your answer to my previous question (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...0&postcount=42) is.

looks like im learning linux now.

ok i did" find /etc/hildon-welcome.d -type f " n it shows there is one more file in there named default.conf , that looks like the file i tried to copy while changing boot video.. may be i messed up some commands by doing that. so whts the command for delete files ?

ok found it,, with my DOS knowledge i removed the MyDocs dir using "rm -r " command within hildon-welcome.d

now the result for df -h / is
size - 227.9M, used-160M, Available 64.7M, use- 72%
and for du -hsx / is 309.3M

n the detail result

364 k-----/bin
5.4M -----/etc
14.9M----/lib
12K-------/root
1.9M------/sbin
64K-------/tmp
252.4M---/usr
34.3M----/var

everything back to normal or is there more free space i can get?

At 72% I wouldn't worry about it.
