The n900 is no doubt a wonderful device, if you are a developer and can tinker with the source code and do all kinds of amazing stuff but for me all i have had are issues after issues.

Now the media player is just pants, if modify my files ( remove files ) when plugged into the pc via usb when i reboot the device and launch media player is says no media files found i have to wait for at least 10 minutes then its show my files even then, the files i deleted still show thus duplicating the list of songs but the duplicated songs don't actually play so why the hell are they showing.

With no option to refresh my media library i am stuck with it. There is alot of buzz about how good this device is, but the truth is it;s the most bug ridden device i have ever had and have had alot of devices.

yes, it's hardware specs are massive, yes it play flash, yes you can develop a wide array of apps and all that jazz but basic functions are a bloody mess, all other devises can allow user to refresh the media library and restore factory setting with a few clicks but this with devise you have to go through complicated steps.

I am so frustrated with this device, and no one can help me not even nokia and why would they they have already made their money off i am now left to deal with an overrated device. If this the shape of mobile internet tablets then i am really concerned.

The developer on here are great guys, but its is not their responsibility to resolve these manufacturers issues
