Actually... if you really think about it. They don't really market in the US nor Japan; yet they've still somehow grown pretty large.

To me, that's indicative that the US is a market that they can afford to not pay that much attention to previously, but that will probably change once they have a mass market device that fits our needs in the US. I think it'll change, but not now and not overnight.

We're (the US market) different than most other places due to the fractured frequencies we support and our needs in a phone.

And it's for those same reasons I haven't purchased a N900 yet. It's not an exact fit to what I'd consider something I'd use for my phone quite yet. As a tablet though, I don't mind hacking it to pieces. I do that with my N810.

The complaints; I don't even mind them any longer. I know know that there is a lot of energy and constructive input that could come from it... if that was what you wanted to do. Otherwise, venting just for venting sakes... why not? It's a public forum. But after a while, wouldn't you want your grievances to have some merit?

Contribute. It might end up fixed in the next firmware release(s).

if all of us who like n900 start expressing our love like u do the opposite, your posts will be left out in the dust. Feel good you have a lil bit of audience

If this is how Nokia wants to treat old Nokia fellows then this is it! I do not want this any more! Thank you and goodbye!!! I put my N900 on sale today and will never get another Nokia device!!!!
I respect your opinion, but i think that you should also respet mine.

In my opinion N900 is the best purchase I have ever done.

Of course it has some lacks like phone because is more or less new, have symbian. In any other sense Maemo is powerful!!

Best Regards and hope your next phone will convide you!!!

Hey dude! I really know how it feels buy something in another country and dont get applied for guarantee when necessary, im from ecuador and if my n900 loose the mini-usb it a doom for me! but i was really informed about this problems because I RESEARCH all kind of things abouts pros-cons in the N900, and now i only charge my N900 with a modified charger conector, the two grimps in charger conector that cause the loose of the internal micro-usb i bended and now ny charge conector get in aand out easylly and without push anything, its a rudimentary solution but it works
