There is SIP for the Nokia 770 and the N800: Gizmo. I use it (not with a Gizmo-Account, but with my existing SIP-account), so can you.

I for one don't mind tex's coyness on this subject..... it's kinda fun.... I am hoping that we are days and not months away from something happening 
Besides, its good to think about what features you *really* want versus which are just nice to have... I am doing my best to keep my expectations low, otherwise I'll just be disappointed no matter what is announced.

Thanks to those who responded to the SIP question. Even if I had spotted the Gizmo secondary account option I probably wouldn't have understood what it was for.

But seriously: there IS a post from me not too long ago that gives a very revealing clue via a highly specific noun. And no one's forced to play along with a guessing game anyway, right?
As I've said before, there are guidelines on what I can say and not say, and I skirt very close to the limits as it is. I'm not going to risk my job just to be first to announce something. On the other hand, if teasing the community causes stress, I'll stop. No biggie. Just let me know!
