When I plug the cable, orange light lights up and the dim NOKIA text without backlight shows. After about 15 seconds, the screen goes all black and orange light turns off, then after about 1 second the dim NOKIA text comes up again, but not the orange light. And it cycles through all that. It does the same thing with wall charger and the usb cable.

Another thing I tried, I used an older nokia wall charger with the adapter that came with n900 and the light blinks red.

Maybe the battery is dead and it cant startup at all?

Friend of mine got it working. Didnt tell me what was wrong with it, but I just care that it works.

Same issue happening with me when im trying flash my eMMC, i flashed the new update recently without anyprobs from the same machine.

flasher v3.5

Booting device into flash mode.
Suitable USB device not found, waiting.

followed by dead progression dots . nothing happening after that. (waited for few min) even after i unplug the usb cable and the dots stays there and i need to take the battery out to turn it off..ohh my bat is at 60% , does it need to be exatcly 100% to flash emmc ?

mine wont get past 96% on vanilla flash?? anyone care to help? tried plenty of times too

What happens, does it get to 96% through flashing and then just sit there?
