There is now translations for English, German, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, Traditional Chinese and Spanish, I can add Finnish ones myself.

Looks like all major languages have been covered, except French and perhaps Russian. Volunteers?

Other missing languages obviously wanted too.

Here is for French:

1. Mode Téléphone
2. Mode Tablette
3. Ajoute des boutons pour les modes téléphone et tablette au menu du bouton d'allumage
4. Permet d'activer ou désactiver individuellement le modem cellulaire, sans aller jusqu'au mode Hors Ligne intégral. Pratique pour garder le Wifi activé mais le téléphone coupé (avion, hôpital...) ou pour économiser la batterie en cas de mauvaise réception. Redémarre SystemUI en fin d'installation/désinstallation.

Here's a Polish translation (pl_PL).

1. Tryb telefonu
2. Tryb tabletu
3. Dodaje przyciski Tryb telefonu/tabletu do menu przycisku zasilania.
4. Pozwala na włączanie/wyłączanie modemu telefonu bez przechodzenia do trybu offline. Przydatne, gdy chcemy mieć włączony WLAN bez funkcji telefonu (np. podczas lotów, w szpitalach) lub aby oszczędzać baterię, gdy zasięg jest słaby. Uruchamia SystemUI ponownie podczas instalacji/deinstalacji.

ru_RU
pt_PT
es_MX
da_DK
no_NO
fr_CA
cs_CZ

Native speakers advice if I can use es_ES for es_MX and fr_FR as fr_CA as a shortcut as well?

Regarding es_MX, it is indeed almost identical in the writting form to es_ES (it is the same language). However, some expressions (like for mobile phones, that are called cellular, etc) could be different. Anyway, I think you can use es_ES for es_MX until somebody sends you the typical translation for es_MX.

Cheers!

I believe my translation should be understandable by any native French speaker, yes :-)

1. Phone Mode
2. Tablet Mode
3. Adds Tablet Mode/Phone Mode buttons to powerkey menu.
4. Enables switching cellular modem on or off individually, without going to fully to Offline mode. Handy for having WLAN enabled, but phone off (e.g. flights, hospitals) or to conserve battery in areas with low signal reception. Restarts SystemUI at the end of the installation/removal.

to your language, please contribute to this thread.

See also bug #8471 about missing translations.
da_DK:

1. Telefon
2. Lommecomputer
3. Føjer knapperne Telefon-/Lommecomputer(tilstand) til tænd/sluk-knappens menu.
4. Aktiverer muligheden for at slå telefonmodemet til/fra, uden at skifte til offline-tilstand. Funktionen er især anvendelig, hvis du vil have WLAN slået til, men telefonen slået fra (f.eks. i fly, på hospitaler osv.), eller for at spare på batteriet på steder med dårlige modtageforhold. Genstarter systembrugerfladen umiddelbart efter installation/afinstallation.

English string #4 contains errors:

4. Enables switching the cellular modem on or off, without going into Offline mode. Handy for having WLAN enabled, but phone disabled (e.g. flights, hospitals) or to conserve battery in areas with low signal reception. Restarts SystemUI at the end of the installation/removal.

I've now setup a Transifex.net project for Cellular Modem Controls, and a sub-project for cell-modem-ui (Cellular Modem Control Buttons).

Contributions accepted there and still in this thread as well, in case you don't have transifex account.
