does anyone else have the same problem? or know what this might be caused by or a way to fix it>?
i got a very small one of these and it was my own fault for removing my invisible sheild screen protector. those things do not come off easy! bad news is it never faded but like i said its really small so i dont notice it most of the time. as far as i know there is no fix for this. i think its probably an idea to take it to a nokia service centre and see about having the screen replaced.

thanks for the tip! Seems to work so far...

I've removed the dust grains residing between my screen protector and the sides. Since then, the clicks almost disappered. Hope, it will last...

I have my N900 for two weeks now.
I can't say how much I love this little guy. Having a full-blown Linux as a cellphone? No words can describe it. Easy to program, easy to hack, easy to understand.
I only had one issue with wifi not reconnecting. And it occured only once, two days after I got it. Never occured again.

I am so very satisfied with this phone. I'd really really really like it to be a commercial success. Oh, and I'd like 3G videocalls too.

The only annoyance is a clicking noise in the top-middle part of the screen. But on the software side i'm really satisfied...

mine is made in korea which is like a bit of fresh air for me, for the reason that the first production of n900's that have problems mostly came from europe, that is just based on what i read in this forum.

Had mine 1 month, absolutely perfect. Best phone I've ever had, and finally (after years of waiting) a decent replacement for my much missed Psion 5mx. Very minor issues with slowness or music skipping for maybe half a second, usually when I am running twelve things at once though! Love this phone!
