HAVA support (stream your TV/DVR service to phone/PC) coming in March for Android...unknown, if ever, for Maemo.

You may want to just search for Android in the forum...I believe there is a thread already, however I do not believe if Android is "fully functional" on the 900 yet.

I am also interested in obtaining instructions on how to do this. I have searched but found little to nothing.

Thanks in advance.

I believe you'd be better off selling your N900 and buying an Android-supported device if you want Android support.

Not really.. the vast majority of those I think you want are within the Google Market... IIRC - NitDroid cannot access the Google Market because it is not an official Build. The Google Market is one of the closed source apps that Google clamped down on with Cyanogen.

You can get to some of the third party markets out there .. but don't think you're going to find much there beyond what the N900 can already do.

He can no longer distribute roms that include the Google Market.. so they/he has integrated a method where they/he copy the closed source things that are already on the phone to the new installation. Something along those lines.

That was the only way Cyanogen could continue to make his ROM's.
