When it will be in extras I guess

But promotion of packages using Qt 4.6 is freeze until next fw PR.1.2, so it could be weeks.

Wait for a week and then install it. It should be bug free then.

I can't install, says "Conflicting application packages", Gues there's something already installed it doesn't like.

Try to install again the Application. Then don't close App Manager.

Application manager keeps a log of recent activity that's available in the menu (Click on Application Manager -> Log) which may help me in diagnosing why you can't install it.

Please post here the log concerning. Thanks.

Hi,

I have N900.

At first im unable to locate AutoDisconnect under apps->download. Have all extras enabled. Develop, Test and normals.

So i tried to download files there under download. But installing fails because application packages are missing:

libqt-maemo5-core and libqt-maemo5-core gui

Can anyone assist me? Im very heavt email user, but keeping gprs constant on is like bricking your battery with your bare hands. So autodisconnect is exactly what i want.

Take care.

I have updated the description/manual of AutoDisconnect for better understanding.

Has anyone done any tests with and without this application to see if batter life improves?
So I've just made the test this night. I didn't use the device during the test, so the gain is extreme there, but interesting too.

Analysis made with one automatic sync (calendar & contacts) running every hour using Wifi Access Point : results show that the batteries last 5 times longer with AutoDisconnect enabled.

Last version is 4.6.2 : See http://maemo.org/packages/view/libqt4-maemo5-core/.

Try to remove them with apt-get remove. See this thread : http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=43848
