Duplicate post from Applications forum...
Apologies if this has already been posted and answered; I could not find it on the forum.
Is it possible to have a desktop shortcut for the same application on more than one desktops? It seems to be possible for certain apps like Phone / Conversations etc. However, for applications installed later, it doesn't give an option to add the shortcut if a shortcut already exists on any of the desktops.
Thanks in advance.

You can only have one short cut per app. Quite daft if you ask me. Would want the phone app short cut on each of my desktops so I can get to the phone with a single press.
If you install catorise it has a useful bug which results in being able to add two shortcuts of certain apps like phone, calendar, conversations. But two is the most you can have unfortunately. I hope this gets changed so you can have four. The restriction makes no sense to me.
