Improve Backup Application: Add scheduling options

The built in Backup Application in the N900 is great already but also has potential.

One possible improvement would be the addition of scheduling options to run automatic backups.

Solutions for this brainstorm
Solution #1: Implement scheduling options

Implement options to schedule backups on a daily, weekly or monthly basis

Is it me or is the local backup on the device somewhat pointless (except when updating firmware) if you device is lost or stolen, would't an online back-up facility to Ovi.com be more useful to users so they can atleast retrieve numbers and photos? similar to myphone.microsoft.com for winmo phones.

I agree. But for now my focus is to get a better built in program with minimal effort.

I personally make the backups to the SD-Card, so there is a point in 'gives me security in case a firmware update goes wrong'. I copy them off once a while.

Thanks for the votes, this proposal has now been moved to 'under voting', you can now vote for solutions and propose other solutions.
