Got the Angry Birds level pack too. One thing Nokia need to clear up very quickly is the ability to have the file manager handle .deb files better. Not every person will know how to install a .deb correctly at the shell level. As someone already posted here, file manager asks which application you want to use to open the .deb and less tech savy people are going to get awfully confused.

Sorted now, just installed the .deb file through xterm and its all good

Just use the search feature in these forums. I knew nothing when first coming here but learning! If you saved in Documents then navigate to there first so:

sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
cd .documents
dpkg -i angrybirds-levelpack1_1_0_0_armel.deb

It will unpack and when you go back into ABs it will be sorted....hopefully

Wait a minute:

If it's a deb that is either opened in app manager or saved....

a) How does this compare to the previous situation (download via apt-get) in terms of illegally spreading the file? Not much better for publishers I suppose, is it?

b) Does this mean the applications aren't in a repository any more and therefore will not get updated if a bug is fixed?

no < and >; also, there has to be a blank between dpkg and -i

just
dpkg -i angrybirds-levelpack1_1_0_0_armel.deb
if angrybirds-levelpack1_1_0_0_armel.deb is the filename.
