Greetings everyone I brought a n810 off of ebay for a great price. I love it However as soon as I get the funds it think I am going to get a n900. I am learning coding (python and php mainly) so this is perfect to typing codes on my commutes. And playing a quick game while waiting in line.

I have a few noob questions since I am new to 810 and GNU/Linux

Hello,
I recently registered as I have been lurking for the past few months after hearing about the n900. I am new to maemo but I have been running Fedora Core for a while. Still looking for a n900 to purchase.

Hi there,

I just bought an N900 in the UK and think the device is fantastic.

Lack of turn-by-turn navigation is a bit of a disappointment, (I'm moving to Aus soon and was hoping for a decent satnav solution) but otherwise I love it.

Previously I had an Openmoko Freerunner because I wanted to experiment with linux on a phone. Let's just say it was never ready for prime-time and it should consider itself damn lucky that it didn't get thrown off a bridge somewhere. Still, some sucker paid 150 quid to take it off my hands....

Compared to that the N900 is an absolute dream

Just got mine last Tuesday. This is the best phone I have ever owned. I was going to get the NexusOne but glad I got the N900 instead.
