all my sytem folders are displayed twice...
but in the real filesytem (when i view with pc) there is always only 1 folder.

see attached pics plz....

and the second thing i wanted to ask ..... it is no issue but how kann i hide files from the mediaplayers library.... with the pictures i know how to display only one specific folder....

but with the musik and the vids i dont found an option.... is there some funktion for exclude a folder from indexing??

i want the the files in that folder are only visible through the filemanager.... and even wont be added to the library when i open them with media player....

is there a solution for that??

It's a known issue (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5838, see particularly comment #42 for a work-around).

ok i should nolt post faster than i can read.... comment 42 was the solution.... problem solved....but what is now with my second problem??

Well, i've got a "problem". When i'm going in my file manager, i can see this :

Audio clips
Audio clips
backups
Camera
Camera
cities
Documents
Documents
Images
Images
My download
qtirreco
Video Clips
Video Clips



So, as you can see i've got some files in double.
When i'm connection my N900 to my PC with the usb cable and opening the files, there are no doubles.
When i want to delete for instance ""Video Clips" from the N900, it's say that it's impossible, so i'm still with 2 files, that are exactly the sames...

Any ideas of what it is and how i could manage this problem ?

It's a bug in the file manager, you have more than 32 files (and folders) in MyDocs, move some stuff into folders till you have <32 files, then restart the file manager.

I had the same problem (double folder entries in File Manager for 'Documents', 'Camera', 'Audio Clips', 'Images' and 'Video Clips').
I found the Bug (referred to in the thread b666m links to) and answer #42 too, but when I checked using terminal I didn't have 32+ entries (folders + files), but only 27! (I checked the number of files using 'ls -1a /home/user/MyDocs | wc -l' in xterm).
I did however notice that I had some strange "._blablabla" files in the MyDocs folder, and by removing them, my filemanager problem was solved!
I removed them using xterm with the following command:

rm -r /home/user/MyDocs/._*

Yeah, i had 29 folders, i just moved some stuff in a common file to have 25 folders and the problem is fixed.
I just voted for the bug.
