I do have the current FW, but the .deb cannot be installed: "Application package missing: gnome python."

as root in x-terminal run

You can still install the .deb file from the terminal, use:
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i <filename>

Your my documents directory is /home/user/MyDocs/

EDIT: forgot to say that you might need rootsh installed (available in extras repository)

Yes wasnt shouting lol just trying to make sure people read it before asking 10 more times why they cant install it, i'll have to wait for the firmware as dont really want to try flashing my n900, ah well

I'm from north Bucks, milton keynes/aylesbury/buckingham area

Got the fix fromn the developer: You are (almost) right. His fix worked as this:

"apt-get install gnome-python"

It looks amazing so far!

you have also to install python-osso, python-xml and hildon-python via xterminal. that's not good for a 2,80€ app.
also the text is not aligned (downloading thumbnails and so on).
I'm a little bit disappointed.
Anyway, thanks for the program.

I did not need those other pythons. The app works as advertised. Not free, but not unreasonable either.

I don't see any mis-aligned text. Where exctly?

soro, some of those you would have downloaded when you installed my app, the others probably from another app.... thats the good reason for going through testing etc first
