Hey, I looked at the FAQ, and it told me the signature options were in the user control panel. I looked there, but failed to notice a "edit signature" button/link. Is there a post requirement, or something else?

In fact I think there is an requirement. Try accessing this page: http://talk.maemo.org/profile.php?do=editsignature
If it tells you that you don't have access you probably have to post more.
