Is there a one-step way to go back one page in the browser history?

95% of the time I just want to go back to the previous page. It's a bit cumbersome always having to choose the previous page from the list of previously visited pages...

What about when you don't use the keyboard?

The on screen back is nice for when I want to go back a few pages, but for just going back a single page, it is a bit long winded.

I think there's plans to change the current back button to go back a single page, leaving the "swipe" motion to bring up the history list. I can't remember exactly where I read that though - might be worth checking the relevant bug report.

Hmmm, they should use a long press on the back button to bring up the history, a tap should go to the previous page. This would be MUCH better.

I hope not because it normally takes me about 5-10 swipes to get it to work! It tries to scroll the web page to the side most of the time.

I'd prefer the tap/long press options personally.
