I hope this is the right place to ask this question, here goes, I purcased my N900 last Thursday, over the weekend I installed the Nokia update without problem.
As regards the Maemo.org updates my Application manager informs me that there are no updates,
This could mean one of two things, one as my N900 is less than a week old the updates have already been activated, second the updates are not yet available in Kuwait..
Thank you.

what does the Version say when you go to Settings and About Product. Mine is 3.2010.02-8 and its the latest.

EDIT: @muppi: I re-read your post and I'm confused!

Hi, mabrook on your new device.
The updates from maemo.org show up if you have installed an application from the repository, (Bluetooth DUN for example) and an update is later released for said application.
If you have just gotten the phone then any applications you install from maemo.org is already at its latest version and therefore wouldnt have an update.
You seem to have updated fine from the nokia repository as you said and so naturally that update would cease to show up as well.

Each update has 2 "version numbers", which can be somewhat confusing. There's a nice overview of released updates at wikipedia. Scroll down to the "Release history" table.

Hmm, OK thanks for that now I'm the one who is confused is there a quick way to check which upgrades I have or have not along the lines of " O.S. Ver. 1234 ", as this would give me the definitive answer, also bummer I don't have bounce on my N900.
Cheers,
Dave.
