Greetings:

When I state a Itunes program, I mean that I can open Itunes on the N800 and listen to my favorite music.

As we know there is Itunes for Windows and Mac.

But is there Itunes for Linux?

Regards Robert

There is no version of Itunes for linux. There are plugins which will allow you to play Itunes files, though only files ripped from cd.

Yes, there are only programs for playing mp3 files, not aac files, in case you have bought your music from itunes store.

Thats not true. There are aac plugins for Linux. However they cannot play files with drm. Files you rip using itunes into aac format are fine. Its only files off the shop which won't work. In many ways support for aac is better in linux that windows. I do not know if aac is supported on the tablet at the moment.

It is. You can play aac files in the built-in media player. They sound very good. I've copied songs that I ripped using iTunes on to an SD card and played them on the N800. There's no support for iTunes playlists, however.

It would be sweet if someone could get Bonjour/Rendezsvou running on maemo so we could stream what's on our computers to our ITs
