Known issue and a WONTFIX (there's some report in bugs.maemo.org but I am too lazy to find the number).

I see this phenomenon all the time.

I doubt it'd come up in a screen shot - it feels like video tearing (e.g. watching a video with sync-to-vblank off).

The orientation is different than with a desktop PC (vertical tear line on N900 vs horizontal line on a PC) but I assume that's just the display hardware on the N900 - designed for portrait mode I guess

K i'll search for it.How can i take a screenshot?Im not really that bothered with this issue, what i am afraid of is the possibilty that this could somehow be related to a hardware problem.

Thw first problem is kinda similar to my second one,the difference is the location on which the "break" or "tear" occurs. When i scroll throught the home screens the display tears horizontally.

That's probably #5556? I think #8116 and #9320 are related.

Yeah, I'd put my 2 cents its pretty close to 480px where is happens. Easy to spot when you have a website with vertical lines, the right side of the screen is lagging behnd. Faster you scroll the more it breaks.
