Hello everyone ,
I've this problem for few days.First it wasn't show new photos in the photos application. So I googled and find the "tracker-processes -r" command. After I used it , media player showed nothing expect a playlist.I reflashed my device and it turned back to normal.I wanted to try the tracker command again but the problem occuard. Then I tried to tracker.sh start command. It didn't change anything but when I looked in the log file , I saw , somehow , i can't index the ".camera" folder because the folder didn't exist.I created the folder and mounted "DCIM" folder in it.But now when I try the start the tracker.sh , there is no change and there is nothing in the log file.
Any help ?

There's a bug open about the .camera issue. You can fix it by editing /home/user/.config/tracker/tracker.cfg to change the .camera in WatchDirectoryRoots to DCIM instead (the default image location was changed before release). That would only prevent indexing any photos stored on the eMMC though.

Normally, I just run "tracker-processes -r", then start Media Player - that will restart the tracker process and start the indexing. Exit Media Player again, and restart it to get the feedback on how long remains to complete the indexing process.

I've changed the watch directory but there is no change . It will show everything at once or I should see it's rising one by one ?

I'm not sure - I've never paid much attention. It should pop up the yellow bar with some indication of time remaining if it's indexing though. You can also use "tracker-status -f" to see what the indexer is currently doing.

That means it's currently idle. Press Ctrl+C then type in "tracker-stats" to get an output of what it's actually got indexed.

Well, that's tracker-status rather than tracker-stats (yes, very confusing) but that's still interesting. What do you currently have running? It looks like something is stopping the tracker from running.

Woow , it fixed . I've just wanted to try the ../tracker.sh force-reload and watched its progress with tracker-status. And it fixed . Thank you so much for your help
