I am playing an internet radio (through the media player) on my N900. I want to come home, walk into my room, set my phone into its stand ( thanks fake! ) PLUG IN MICRO USB , and then continue listening to internet radio through my pc speakers...

Is this doable? Is there already a way through PC suite that I dont know of?

Thank you

I'm not sure if you can somehow connect to n900's audio output from your computer. I quess it could be done via ssh or am I totally wrong? (No comments about work that is required)

at least usb networking appears to be working if I trust this

It's theoretically possible - pulse-audio is quite capable of redirecting the audio over a network connection, so you could use USB networking, detect a connection and redirect the audio stream. Unfortunately the N900s pulse-audio implementation seems to be lacking the network support (from what others have posted anyway - I've not looked at this myself), and it'd be pretty complex to setup anyway (I think).

the wire would probably cost $1 and if you start doing anything over usb and count that your time costs $10 per hour(really cheap), you'll loose probably hunderds of bucks.
