I have a general question about Pidgin, I hope its ok to add to this thread. I'm a long time user of Pidgin on my N810 but now that I have a N900 with all its integrated accounts for IM's it seems Pidgin is an unnecessary redundancy. Why would use it if my N900 can already do IM's and SMS built in? The only thing I miss is the "user is typing" message....

hey (:
has anyone else problems with the latest version of the statusbar plugin for pidgin?
if it's installed and i try to start pidgin an error pops up like "internal error. program is shutting down."
that sucks... because showing a small icon for new messages in the statusbar is really sweet

Exactly the same for me. Looks like we have to wait till an update fixes this problem.
