Hello, I've been trying to save a couple of contacts to my sim card but it seems like that option is not available. I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me?

I think you'll find that this was asked in a thread a couple of months ago. Fromwhat I remember there was no way discovered of doing this, at least with the standard software.

What exactly were you trying to achieve by saving the contact to the sim card? The sim won't hold all the details for a contact either. If you just want to put it on another phone then you could send a vcard via bluetooth or text.

use the backup tool to save the contacts to your memory card , then use your pc to use pc suite to back them up , this way you have two hard copys of your contacts

if you use hermes 1st you can get your photos for your facebook contacts from there then backup and you have a nice backup of your contacts

for swapping phones use another handset to create your sim entrys then you have your sim loaded incase you have to swap handsets

sims cant hold alot of info ie one or two numbers for each contact and a email for each contact tops

A couple of hundred contacts sure, but each can just have (a rather short) name and one number.

Are they planning to add this feature?

Magic 8-ball says no. One can just move over the SIM card and then transfer the contacts one wants over Bluetooth, which'll preserve much more information (such as several numbers of different types for a single contact!)
