Just saw this: http://gizmodo.com/5490018/google-ma...ime-for-spring

Which is pretty cool for a cyclist like me in NYC. Would anyone know of a way to implement this in Maemo Mapper?

I read your post and added support for them (for the N900):
- click on the title bar
- Maps
- Manage repositories...
- Sync
- click on the title bar
- Maps
- Google Cycling

Have fun :-)

Oh noes, I have an N810 and I don't have the Sync option. Should I re-download the list of sample repositories, or am I out of luck? Any way to add it in manually?

Hi,

Could you give a bit more detail on how to use this, and also explain what you mean by "title bar". Where is this found? Thank you.

Please provide the URL for Google Cycling maps. It's easy to add the an N8x0 if you know it.

Well, I have added a Google map to Mapper before, I just don't know how to go about getting the URL in the first place. If you go to Google maps, click on More, and then check Bicycling you'll get the cycling maps.

Here is the URL to be used in the diablo version:
http://mt.google.com/vt?lyrs=m@119,bike&z=%d&x=%d&y=%0d

@RockCreek1: the title bar is where the word "Mapper" is. When you see a small arrow next to the application title, it means that there is a menu.

I'll try this on my N810 and then document it in the Maemo Mapper Howto http://FragosTech.com/MaemoMapper
