Just got my 770 and love it so far but the only thing I can't figure out is how to install Gnumeric. When I try to install it in the application manager, I get this message that I am missing some packages, (libglade2-0>=1:2.2.3.6).
What am I doing wrong?

Also I am new to this linux and the 770, and was wondering if there is a faq page for us neebies to understand what everything means. I've been reading on meamo.org but I still can't figure out what the heck meamo is?

Thanks!

Surfsup,
I had the same problem with the N800. It's very difficult to find libglade in the usual repositories. Then I read that it is needed to run Maemo Stars. I installed Maemo Stars, then tried installing Gnumeric again....voila! The Stars package must include the directions for the N800 to download libglade. I have the usual repositories suggested by maemo.org to have in your application catalog. If that doesn't work for you, try this link: http://maemo.o-hand.com/packages/mistral/ and look for libglade there.
Best of luck,
TH
