Hello,

I have a Qt application for armel which I want to upload to garage.

the deb file is around 90M and the tar.gz around 200M?


First i uploaded the changes file using the wizzard page. It was ok.

Then i tried to upload the DSC and tar.gz files but i got this error:
Code:
Upload error, no repository selected!
Is it a problem with the application being to big?
I've already installed the .deb on my N900 and it works ok.

You should not be uploading this size applications through the assistant. Web (http) protocols aren't the best solution for that as they tend to time out etc.

You should look into using dput or scp to upload your sources.

So there is no limit size restriction.

The web server has been configured to limit at 100MB, but that is already far above the sane limit for uploads over the web. This is a technical limit, not because of some policy.

We have no size limits for packages in Extras.

I still can't upload my files to extra-devel.

when i'm using dput i get:
returned a nonzero exit code.
Error while uploading.


when i'm trying to upload using scp directlyi get
Permission denied (publickey).
lost connection

I have the rsa public key saved to account-maintenance on site.

The private/public keys are saved in /home/user/.ssh
I tried to create key in scratchbox and outside? with the same error result when trying to upload

What i do wrong?
Also i have the upload invite.
Also i did all the steps for dput/scp methods described here http://wiki.maemo.org/Uploading_to_Extras
