Hi all,

I recently purchased a Nokia N810 (new in box) and have loaded a few applications which I can't figure out how to use them. For example: in the application manager window, I see the applications that are loaded but they are not icons on the desktop and I can't launch them from the application manager.

One of the apps. is called Personal Launcher which is supposed to place commonly used apps on the desktop, but I can't figure out how to even launch this?

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,

You need to use the menu on top left of screen to access your applications. Personal Launcher has to be setup to show icons on desktop.

I think Personal Launcher just installs into the configuration panel, but I don't have my N800 handy to check on that.

Ok, but...

The top left of my screen is the globe for launching the internet and saved websites.

I really feel stupid, what am I missing?

You might want to watch the Get Started video (should be an icon on the desktop by default).

Thanks for all the advice.

Believe me I have watched the getting started video, read the manual, and watched the videos on U-Tube. It is just a difficult tablet to navigate - right now.

I am having trouble downloading the zsync and the zcalsync applications. Other applications load with no issues.

Any help on the zsync apps.?

Thanks
