hello
i want to get the MAC address of available APs
ive tried the aircrack package,not usefull
tried to get kismet ,didnt find compatible version for n900
any suggestions?

install wifieye.
open it. click on "select view". choose "details".
voila!

"iwlist wlan0 scan' should do it. The iwlist binary itself is in package wireless-tools from the tools repository, see http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...Wireless_Tools for details and installation instructions.

wifieye doent scan unless im already connected to a AP,at least on my N900
iwlist worked i had tools already installed thnk u Ima

both ways wont work unless i apply " ifconfig wlan0 up " anc iwlist gives more detailed infos abt the AP....
