Main apps haven't switched to Qt, so I'm assuming they have the same scrolling atm.
Let's hope that it is not the CPU
I really hate the scrolling lag and freeze sometimes. I really hope they moved all the kenetic scrolling to QT4.6 all together and take advantage of the QT eye candy functions

Thank Mohammad

Moving to Qt isn't as easy as flipping a switch, it's still GTK+ obviously.

Yes of-course but if it was only limited to Gtalk then the manual should state it.

And anyway just because we had limited Video Call support for Gtalk in PR 1.1 doesn't mean they didn't add full video call abilities for both Skype and Gtalk in PR 1.2.

@MohammadAG please do me this favor and check in the Contact App if the Video Call option is only limited to Gtalk or it is available for both Gtalk and Skype.

Thanks in advance

Skype uses it's own library, the other standard protocols can use H264 for video streaming. If both Skype and other protocols had video calling that would require seperate updates as far as I am aware.

I would also have expected to hear about this from Skype as I believe that this would be the first mobile that supported video calling directly? (Please feel free to correct me on this people!)

Yes you are right. However since fring, a third party skype solution, is currently offering Skype Video Calls for all Symbian devices I see no reason why this option cannot come to the N900 plus in the N900 Skype is directly involved with the development.

I am not sure if fring is using the H264 or other protocol but they did manage to do it.

It's only 256MBs, it's highly compressed as it is, and I doubt Nokia will do the whole optifying stuff from /usr/share thing.

Anyways I can't check that as on the SDK, it shares the HDD space.
rootfs 38448276 7985824 28509352 22% /
In PR1.2 there is a run-once optify script

I think Geolocation may be included by default in this new update as well as the manual says:

Geolocation permissions — Clear all permissions and bans you have given for web sites to use your position information.
