Well after spending a few weeks juggling HTC HD2, Moto Milestone and N900 - Expansys in the UK have my money and an N900 should be here tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to my first mobile internet experience (my current phone is a Moto Krzr) and hope that we won't get left behind with bug fixes when meego launches :P

I'm really looking forward to having a linux box in my pocket as I manage our internal servers at work (running linux) and it will save carting my laptop into the office each day.

Just use it for what it is rather than what the device was hyped to be. IMHO this is an excellent device with immense potential, which you will realize the more you play with it. Don't expect it make soup for you out of the box but with little effort it can control your PC/tv

Welcome!

Definitely the right phone for you, especially if you manage to get a VPN connection with your phone. Handling some issues using phone might have positive impact on your work, since you probably end up automating some re-occurring tasks by scripting them.
