As the title says i thought the general view was that we will get meego, why are bothering with pr1.2 shouldnt nokia be using that time to develop meego faster?

so you want to get an os to your n900 that is worse than PR1.0? and probably partly incompatible?

i didnt say that at all. i suggested that instead of developing pr1.2 they should develop meego faster for us in hope that we get it

And how about they abandon symbian development while theyre at it? Oh, yeah, because theyre different platforms, and are developed concurrently. Stopping development of one does not mean another will go faster, and would be stupid.

i much prefer a well polished "dead os" maemo than that meego thing... if one thing i cant wait anymore is for the newer qt version coming to maemo so everyone can start producing awesome apps and i can install them in my phone
